The Joy Gear System uses the mechanical logic of planetary gears to illustrate a healthy spiritual life. Just as a mechanical gearset requires every part to be in alignment to transmit power, this system shows how divine connection leads to a powerful output of joy:

• The Source (Sun Gear): At the center is the Love of God (represented by Jesus Christ and His Atonement which makes everything possible), which serves as the "input" that initiates all spiritual movement.

• The Action (Planet Gears): Orbiting the center are our daily actions—Love God, Love Others, and Love Self (the Great Commandment). These gears must constantly "mesh" with the divine center to maintain spiritual energy and power.

• The Environment (Ring Gear): The Holy Spirit (or Holy Ghost) encompasses the entire system, providing the necessary "lubrication" and guidance for the gears to turn smoothly without friction or damage. The Spirit is the active energy of God, acting as the "delivery system" for His love and the "fuel" for our joy.

• The Output: When these components work in harmony, the final result—or output—is Joy, peace, and power.

Like a high-efficiency gearbox, the Joy Gear system suggests that spiritual alignment leads to a "high power density" life—where even in small, quiet moments, a person can deliver a massive amount of love and strength to the world around them.
